Merry Christmas Eve y'all!
May today be a fun filled and joyous day for you. What are your plans today?
I am hosting a dinner party tonight. At least I think I am. I got up this morning early and started cooking. And doing dishes. Suddenly I noticed a pool of water near my feet.
My sink is leaking! My sink is leaking!
Darn! Darn! Darn!
I panicked for a minute and did what a normal person SHOULD do. I posted about it on twitter. Then I updated my facebook page. Then I proceeded to clean it all up.
In a few minutes, I will wake my hubby up and ask him to fix it or find someone else who can fix it. The dinner will go on. Meanwhile, I am blogging and visiting my friends' blogs. Hey life goes on.
Questions of the day: What are you eating tonight? And what are you wearing?

I am making cookies and bourbon balls at the moment. Tonight I will eat a very large portion of a cow. Right now, I am wearing a bow tie. Later, I will put on the rest of my clothes. I am also washing my socks since last year I hung up dirty ones, and Santa said the smell was quite offensive. I hope Santa will bring me what I want most. The names and phone numbers of all the girls who were naughty this year.
Have a happy day!
We're going to San Antonio for family overload--it's going to be great! We keep telling ourselves that it might be the last time for a year or two that we do the whole shabang.
Mythos: Be careful when you make the bourbon balls. Don't drink up all the bourbon! Looks like it is too late for my advice:)
Elizabeth: Have fun in San An! I can't believe you are moving to Maine soon!
ooohhh, I love the Christmas time festivities!
We are celebrating Christmas with my husband's family at his parents house. We will eat ham and green bean casserole, turkey breast and the best:
real hot chocolate from a special melted chocolate and panettone!
I'll blog about it tonight!

Merry Christmas Scriber's Web! I've said it before but I love your optimism and you positive outlook on life. So your sink is leaking? So what? The party must go on!
All the best for a wonderful 2010!

Hello Scriber, Merry Christmas to you, and I wish you a very Happy New Year. I hope your Christmas Eve dinner party went well. But I'm thinking sending husband out for requisites for mending kitchen sink could be another of your Wii fix scams, and I'm wondering if dinner ever got cooked....?! As for what I'm wearing right now - a dressing gown. And I'm listening to Gloria Estefan singing Spanish Christmas songs.
Hope you had a lovely holiday and that your sink isn't leaking anymore!
Snicker.... hope you had a good time girl.
Btw. I still need to add you on FB ;)
We didn't do much on Christmas eve.
And eating? I think we ordered Chinese :)
Right now, I'm wearing an old sweatshirt with some offensive messages for the people I am disgruntled with, and since I just woke up after 10 hours, I haven't eaten yet.
Planning to make myself some steaming chicken soup soon. :D
I know it's mean of me to admit this, but when you twittered about your sink leaking I had to burst into laughter because that's the kind of nonsense I thought only happened at MY house! Hope all is fixed and back to normal now! I wish you a prosperous and healthy New Year my bloggy friend!
