So I am here in Chicago and this is how foggy it is today. It is not really that cold. Just very very foggy. Good thing that I get to go back to this place to take more photos.
We went to Al's for lunch today.
They have the yummiest beef sandwiches. Messy but yummy. Not to mention that we have to eat standing up. Very cool and fun.
Next stop was Wrigley's field. It was closed but we walk around it and peeked inside when we were able to.
Notice the brick path around it. For a price, you can get a message written on the bricks. There must be about 5000 bricks.
A quick stop at a local brewery Goose Island for refreshments.
Oh notice how all the houses around the Wrigley's Field have bleachers on their roof. They have the perfect view. Neat way to make some extra money. Right? Those luck people!
Tonight, we are having Lou Malnati's pizza for dinner. Will take photos for you.

Hah! I think I gained a pound or two while there with all that pizza.
I love the fog--enjoy!
Cool! Can't fig out exactly where you were in taking the foggy pic? On the North side somewhere? Navy Pier? Its been years since I lived there, and to this day, I still mourn and grieve for the sloppy juicy Italian beef sandwiches. And now that you have posted a photo of one, I am going to be sad all day!!! Boo hoo!
gain weight? if you eat that kind of food for a luch and a pizza in the evening....5 kgs! I hope not! But junk food is very dangerous and fast! :)
ps. very foggy over there...
I predict you will gain about 85 pounds!!!
I forgot what you said how long you would stay, but if you walk far enough to take more of those cool shots, you'll be alright!
Elizabeth: Food is fabulous here. Pizza is just crazy good. I bet I gain weight here! Sigh.
Mythos: I took this while I was standing near the Field Museum. It is still foggy today. Don't feel bad that I am eating all this good food! Will be posting some pizza photos soon!
Blogitse: Hopefully I will be able to slow down on eating all this food. Very foggy here today also.
Mythos: Ha ha. I hope not!
Nicole: Yeah I am walking some of it off. But it is so so cold outside! I'll have to focus more on it when I get back:)
Love your photo of foggy Chicago. Hope you and your menfolk are having a great time, and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
Janice.
Chicago bars have the best comfort food. I had the most memorable meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy at some bar in Chicago. Can't remember the name. It was awwwwwesome.
