Betty and Mythos: Yesterday during lunch, a colleague of mine did a show and tell. He went to Afghanistan to help the NATO fix its network issues. He was there for about 2 weeks and lived in bunkers and traveled on military planes. It was a very interesting experience.
I am not sure how much this money is worth. I can ask him though. He bought exquisite carpets, lovely jewelery etc to show us the stuff. I can tell you that he pumped a ton of his personal US dollars into the Afg. economy:)
