Farmer's Market Austin

Yesterday we went to the Farmer's market in Austin. They had live music. There is live music everywhere in Austin. Even grocery stores and airport. Austin is the live music capital of the world.

Their chocolates put the recess back in recession! Somehow I just don't get it. Oh and here is a secure man wearing a Kilt. We don't get to see much of that in Texas.

And here are some fresh, organic veggies. We bought mushrooms, eggs and lamb.

And finally, here is a bumper sign I saw.

I think there would be a lot of things I wouldn't "get" in Texas ;)
Beautiful glimpses!
And the veggies look yummy :)!
That kilt look a tad awkward. Maybe that's the Texas version ;)

Love the bumper sticker!

Also, that's not just any old kilt. That was a utilikilt, designed as a kilt for men who need to get stuff done! Most Scottish people just point and laugh at them though.

Looked like a lot of fun!

CF: Ha ha. I thought you'd like the bumper sticker:) Great to have you back.

Nicole: You and Blogitse inspired me to write a bit about my town. I love the glimpses you ladies give me. When I first saw the skirt, I was going to say man skirt but did not think it would be politically correct:) So I called it a kilt. I guess it is not. Austin is very very different from rest of Texas. You should visit sometimes.

Craig: Ha ha. I was going to call it man skirt because it really does not look much like a real kilt but wanted to be politically correct. I can picture Scottish people laughing at this:)

Mytho: I really should have bought more. But we were running errands so did not want to leave the produce in the car. Love your "Think globally act locally" tag line.

Betty: Yep even grocery stores. Not all of them but some of them. And they are very kid friendly. So the kids can run around or dance during the show. I'll take some photos next time I go there.

Great bumper sticker, hahaha!
I really liked Austin when we visited there...maybe a place to retire someday??? hhhmmm...

Yes, I would love any info on the contests that you could give me. I know of one specifically for scuba diving fotos, but other than that, not much. Also, give me your opinion...in the scuba diving one, they have a few categories....
should the fish be enetered in the macro or marine life? I tend to think marine life, but then again, this is a first for me!
thanks for offering to help!
