Blur

Embrace the blur!

Before I had a digital auto-focus camera, I spent years trying to take pictures with perfect focus. Crystal clear.

But now I have a nice digital camera with auto-focus. I can close my eyes and take photos. The results are perfect.

So I 've been playing around. Being a little rebellious. I'm making some mistakes but it is fun to experiment. I've even been thinking about buying a lens called lensbabies which gives you a lot more control to blurring.

I've taken some blurry pictures on purpose or accidentally and am using them on my blog. So far, no nasty comments.

What do you think? Hate the blur? Use it occasionally? Never use it?

I like it too for some pics. That looks cool. That looks like a piece of cake...the picture that is. Hehehe

By the way NaBloPoMo is up for September...

The theme for September is HA!

The 21-day mini-challenge for September is $5 LUNCH.

Wonder if HA! is Hahaha..that is funny or HA! like "I told you so"...or do you think it is anyway we interpret it?

Now they have a 21 day challenge too? Oy!!!!!!!!

I like the blur. It's how I see anything I need to read without my glasses!

LOL!

I tend to get carried away with ideas.

I think September is going to be a fun month to read everyone's blogs and comment. I'll try to write daily but won't sign up for nablopomo.

Plus I am going on a vacation for a week in september and won't have access to internet.

Woe is me!!!

Just so you know, you can pre-plan your posts while you are away - you can use blogger in draft. It is scheduled posts...they rock!

Not the lens baby! I hate the lens baby photos. If I look at more than two in a row I get nauseous. But since so many things make me nauseous, maybe I am not the best judge.... I think the lens baby is just a passing trend. Get a macro lens instead, that will serve you forever.

I like that you are twisting the medium a bit. Try effects on your camera and take pictures of the pictures...I like to shoot people on the net, download and then shoot them again on my monitor with cropping and fx...all in camera though, no photoshop.

Click Mom,

Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to get a macro lens. Unfortunately I spent a ton of money on my camera so it will have to wait. Macros are expensive. You are right about overuse of blur though. Can be overkill!

Mythopolis,

Thanks for visiting. I like your idea. I would have never thought of it. I'll try it out.
