Beer Bust

Someone's cooler flew off a pickup truck and landed in the middle of the road. There was a lot of beer on the road. Chilled beer.

This man told me he did not know whose beer it was but he was just cleaning up. Right.

What he did not know is that my hubby and I drove past the scene just a few minutes ago. The cooler was in the middle of the road.

I forgot to take pictures so I asked my hubby to go back so I could take photos.

The cooler by then was firmly in this nice man's pickup truck.

But at least he tried to clean it up.

Pigs may not fly in Texas but beer surely does.

I can imagine the guy's thoughts: "We wouldn't want it to go to waste now would we? No, I'll just soak it up with paper towels and salvage as much as possible." :D

Joe: Yes. I felt so bad for the man. What a waste. Somehow I think he was able to salvage most of the beer. While I was talking to him, beers were rolling everywhere! It was funny and sad at the same time.

Betty: I am a wine person but can certainly do beer in a crunch:) I am so in. And I am hoping to win the Flip!

Brad: Thanks for visiting and commenting! I felt so bad for him. But I think he did a good job salvaging it.

Nicole: Hey! Poor guy. Beer was happy to be rolling around on the road:)

Blogitse: I agree. You know if it had been wine bottles, I'd be sobbing on the roadside:)

Re-cycled beer is great...you just have to spit out the pieces of glass!
