Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Remember how I told you about a call for entries for flower photos at a gallery? Well... I want to enter and I took about 250 photos of flowers. Yep 250. Some are good and some are just blah.
Now comes the difficult part. I have to narrow it down to 3 of the strongest pieces. Yep 3. I hate making decisions like that. How do you know if you are right or wrong? What is the jury looking for? No clue.
I could ask my friends for their opinion but who is the world has time to go through 250 photos? I have to narrow it down to at least 20 and then ask for opinions. The deadline is this Saturday so I'll have to act fast. And I very much doubt if I will get in. I'd like to but I'm not sure if I am there yet. We'll see.
The best part of this was the planning. The visualization. The execution. Even if I don't get in this gallery, I know that I have at least 100 flower photos that are gallery worthy. So stay tuned. I'll keep you posted.

This one is sooooo gorgeous...its practically sexy! Red being the color of passion, and the white so virginal...even the shadows seem pure!

I love this one - composition, shadows, everything. Are you going to show us the top 3 or is that a problem prior to submitting them to the gallery? Good luck.

Nicole: Thanks! I'll try to post as many as I can. Until everyone is sick of flowers. I am at that point right now. If I have to look at one more flower photo, I will scream!
Janice: I loved that post. I truly admire creative people. I wish I could come up with fabulous ideas. And of course I will post them on my blog. But yet to decide which three ones. Meanwhile, I will be posting some good ones but those that will probably not make it to top 3. And thank you for your encouragement, comments and interest:)
