Wine Opera: Part 3

On a crystal clear day, the Good Daughter went to see her Five Friends. Specially her Sweet Walter.

She baked him a Layer Cake.

On her way, suddenly out of nowhere, she saw a Wild Horse. And on it, the Purple Cowboy.

"Hello Cupcake!" He said.

The Good Daughter gasped. She got Goosebumps.

But she said, "Out of my way or I will turn you into a Leaping Lizard!"

The Purple Cowboy sighed and said, "Please give me a Second Chance!"

Never! You Fat Bastard!
But he did not listen. So she turned him into a Leaping Lizard and made her Escape.

did I mention before how much I LOVE these!
You are doing a great job...and I still want to make up a story form your wines! AGH, when was the deadline?
Hope you have a great week!

I hope you never cease to find wines with curious names - these stories are GREAT! If I see any funny named wines during my 5 wk trip to New Zealand and Australia (leaving this coming Sunday), I'll take photos and send them to you so you can make something up. I have a question though: What happens now with the Purple Cowboy if he was turned into a Leaping Lizard...?

BG: Thanks so much! Some people tell me that it is over the top but I enjoy doing these! I've got some exciting things planned for this soap opera!

Eiri: Please take photos! Right now I have about 50 wine names and photos that I haven't used in the opera. I keep finding more and more. I'll be posting these every Monday.

Please take photos of funny wine names if you see them. Australians have a great sense of humor. They have funny wine names also. I bought one called 4 emus this weekend. LOL.

The Purple Cowboy will return to normal in a day or so. The Good Daughter is too nice to turn him into a leaping lizard permanently.

Have a fabulous trip and take photos! Let me know if you have a blog.

Thanks!

Man, your wine store must be huge!

Hiya! I'm glad to hear the Purple Cowboy survives - it would have been very sad if not...Sorry, don't have a blog. Just like I said to Dan (you got me hooked on his blog as well...), it's more fun to comment on other people's blogs. I'll try to get into some internet café during my trip and keep on commenting...I'm crazy about taking photos, so there'll be loads, hopefully also of funny wines. I think I'll have to check the local wines here in Spain as well. Although they do tend to be more serious...

MM: A couple of wine stores here are huge! Like a big Super Market. But really it is one of those things. Once you start looking, you'll find the craziest of things.

Eiri: Of course the Purple Cowboy will survive:-) Thanks for commenting! I love reading comments and try to reciprocate. I think French and Spanish wine names are serious. Some of the African wine names are funny. But I think some Australian wine names are crazy funny! I can't wait to hear more about them from you. I end up taking a ton of pictures too! Specially now that I have a digital SLR. I hope that after the trip, you post the photos and share them with me.

Have a fabulous trip! I am so envious!

You are HYSTERICAL!! ROTFL! I love it.

I'm glad you are going to make Purple Cowboy survive. He is like Grandma Mazur...he can't get old or die.

Thanks for making me laugh! I wish you a beautiful day my friend.

I must work on the pixel fiction.
Talk to you soon :)

I think the good daughter and the purple cowboy should admit they have a thing for each other and get married and have a bunch of lavender babies.

All I want to make sure is that you personally drank all of these bottles :) I love these!

Jodi: I am so glad that you like these. I am planning on posting these every Monday. They are slightly crazy but I am having fun and most of the blog readers seem to enjoy them a lot. We'll see how long it lasts before I run out of wine names:) Love Grandma Mazur.

M: Lavender babies? That is hilarious! But you will have to be patient. This is a Soap Opera after all. Expect some drama before that happens.

Nicole: I'll tell my son that:) But to be fair, I did take him to the wine store and asked him to cover for me while I surreptitiously took photos. He thinks I have gone crazy. He still loves the blog and reads every day:)
